The process at Rare And Spare is begun after finding and purchasing cars and parts from various sources, salvage dealers, farmers, fellow enthusiasts, from E-bay, estate sales and auctions.

We utilize our rollback flatbed truck to load the cars for transport to our facility in Jenison, after arrival and unloading, pictures are taken of the vehicles along with research on exact year, model and options and the information is posted on this site.

Careful dismantling is then done of desirable parts, we use state of the art equipment (plasma cutter etc.) and years of experience to minimize any damage done in the disassembly process.

After removal, the parts are sorted and cleaned for pictures on our photo table. From there they are categorized for exact location and placed on our shelves and pallet racking. When sold they are picked from the pertinent shelf location and moved to our shipping department.

Our shipping department packages the items with quality packaging materials recycled from local automotive repair businesses.

We ship daily via UPS ground to the US and Canada.
